There's been rumors about it but Lloydz made it official. They've been developing a 214hp, 243ftlb monster to propel RSD's custom Victory to (and probably past) 200mph. You can check out Roland's blog about it here.

LaPorte,Tx. | This is really sweet. I had a turbo bike back in the '80s, a CX650T, awsome motorcycle. It had the capability to go 145 mph observed, and when I rode it at highway speed it would get 55 to 60 mpg. I believe the Vision is a bike that begs for a turbo. A smaller turbo for quicker boost. The one thing about a turbo is it creates a ton of torque...it is so much fun. |

I would buy NOW (pre-paid) if it fitted the looks of the Vision - but NEVER buy that ugly thing on the drag bike. My dealer (MOM?s) just got the Big Bore kit in this week for my bike and the cam's my only question would be at what point would I need to build the bottom of the engine? And would the clutch and tranny hold up under that much torque? I'm old enough that I am only doing it for the gas mileage.
Disclaimer: The last line was for my wife! I want to blow the doors off my Harley friends!!!

Jasper, MO | A setup like the Turbo Connection unit for the Triumph Rocket III would be cool. They mount the turbo under the bike in the space formerly occupied by the exhaust crossover pipe. It's very nearly hidden from view. The Vision's oil filter location may be in the way though. The turbo Rocket III puts down 200 horsepower( at 5500 RPM) and 215 TQ (at 3750 RPM)at the wheel from an otherwise stock motor. Their HD V-Rod turbo kit generates 170 HP at the wheel. 150 HP/160TQ from a stock Vision should be easy with a turbo.

Georgia, west of Atlanta | This could be the "Next Big Thing" A turbo system could be prety well hidden behind the Visions bodywork. It would take some engineering, the plumbing from the turbo through an intercooler and then through the frame to the intakes and the FI throttle bodies is gonna take some real fabricating, if possible I bet Lloyd can come up with the solution............ |

Georgia, west of Atlanta | One more thing I read the abbreviated article on the Roland Sands web site, does anyone know how much boost is being used to make the 214 RWHP ?? I'm also wondering if the heads were O-ringed, I think that would be a must above 14 PSI................. |

hudson, IL United States | now to turn you mind what about a super charger? i know i would rather have a charger then a turbo on a low rpm torque bike. i would only want a turbo on a high rpm race bike. i just think that a charger with the power there all the time and not having to rev it up for power would be better for a big bike like the vision to get off the line quicker. |
